BLURB- Dishonourably dismissed from the police force, Roy has been condemned to a life of obscurity. The twist in the tale comes with the murder of a well-known man in the Mumbai finance circle. Roy is hired by the self made tycoon Jayesh Kumar to probe the case. While Roy is excited at the chance at redemption, he fails to understand why he became the chosen one.

What looks at first an open and shut case, quite rapidly evolves into a tale of deceit and revenge. Roy must take care not to fall for the suspect, and not to see things as they appear. As his personal life gets tied to the success of the case, the question becomes, not whether he can have faith in strangers, but whether he can trust his friends.

Inspired from real life cases, The Monsoon Murders is a fast-paced detective novel, taking the Indian crime fiction genre to mysterious depths.

REVIEW- The Monsoon Murders is fast paced mystery novel by Karan Parmanandka. The Suspense in this novel keeps you engrossed throughout the story till the end. I received this book from Arudha in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Book Cover and Title- Title is apt and goes with the story. It hints us about the content of the book. Cover shows a lady with umbrella which is designed beautifully and catches attention of readers. Blurb is short and upto mark.

Language and Narration- Language of our book is lucid and with fast paced narration it goes well till the end. Book is well edited and grammatically perfect.

Characters- All the characters play their role perfectly as per the story. Though with extra description it could have been better but it does not affect the reading. I liked the way Mr. Parmanandka portrayed characters and i went from hating to loving them.

Storyline and Plot- Story revolves around the murder of high profile businessman Arun. Roy Konte is hired to investigate and through his investigation he reveals many things which add suspense and entertains us.

Mr. Parmanandka has amazingly planned the plot of this story with many twists and turns. Every chapters ends with questions and more mystery and story remained unpredictable throughout the book.
